The Gifted

The Gifted (What I’m Watching – 10/2/18)

Confession time: I only recently got around to watching Season 1 of The Gifted. I DVR’d every episode, but I just never got around to checking it out. Call it a victim of the plethora of choices in the Peak TV era, I guess. Solo: A Star Wars Story Review

I saw Solo: A Star Wars Story this past weekend, and I must admit to being impressed. I should also point out I was—in no way—sure that was going to be the case going in. Truthfully, it has to get pretty bad for me to consider anything associated with Star Wars to be a complete failure. (I’m looking at you crappy prequels!) That being said, this film had such a troubled path to the big screen that it was truly anyone’s guess. Directors leaving (or being fired from) projects isn’t anything new in Read more…

Deadpool 2 Review

The Summer blockbuster movie season is officially in full swing, and the newest offering delivers. The sequel to Ryan Reynold’s 2016 passion project, Deadpool 2 is predictably pretty great.
